That was the emphatic statement of confidence delivered by the Police and Papua New Guinea Defence Force soldiers in Lae on Saturday about their role in maintaining peace and good order during the 2012 generation elections.
The men and women in unform made known their readiness after a 12-km long march from the 3-Mile Police Station through the city and all the way to Igam Barracks in a show of force to deliver their message of preparedness to the nation about the general elections.
A total of 114 soldiers and 150 policemen and women took part in the march. They form the Lae contingent for the elections in the Highlands.
Most of them have been training at Igam Barracks over the past two months in preparation for election duties.
